E4 TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:

Step 1: Check the Outdoor Fan Motor

  • Inspect the outdoor fan motor for any signs of malfunction or irregularities.

  • Verify the wiring and connections to the outdoor fan motor.

  • Ensure that the fan blades are free from obstructions and can rotate freely.

  • Test the functionality of the outdoor fan motor.

 

Step 2: Check for Dirty Filters, Coils

  • Examine filters and coils for dirt or debris that may obstruct airflow.

  • Clean or replace dirty filters.

  • Clean coils to ensure efficient heat exchange.

 

Step 3: Check the Temp Sensor

  • Inspect the temperature sensor for proper functioning.

  • Verify the wiring and connections to the temperature sensor.

  • Replace the sensor if necessary.

 

Step 4: Check for Restriction

  • Inspect the system for any restrictions in airflow.

  • Clear any obstructions or blockages that may be restricting airflow.

 

Step 5: Check the Expansion Valve

  • Inspect the expansion valve for proper operation.

  • Verify the wiring and connections to the expansion valve.

  • Replace the expansion valve if necessary.

 

Step 6: Check the Strainer

Step 7: Check by 4 Point Temp Check

  • Perform a 4-point temperature check to assess the system's performance.

  • Check temperatures at various points to identify any irregularities.
